What does rent cost?
We quote rents by phone because they move with availability, layout and lease length. Call (315) 424-0036 x111 and we’ll tell you which apartments are open and what each one rents for.
How do I pay rent?
Pay through the resident portal, or send a check or money order payable to Brook Manor LLC to PO Box 10056, Albany, NY 12201-5056, with your name and apartment number on it. Open the resident portal
When is the leasing office open?
The office is open Mon–Fri, 10am–4pm. After hours, send the tour form and we’ll call you back on the next business day.
Is there laundry?
Is parking included?
Yes. Parking is on site at no extra monthly charge; spaces aren’t assigned. Nine garages are also available to rent.
Can I rent a garage?
Yes. There are nine garages on the property, rented separately from the apartment. Call (315) 424-0036 x111 to ask whether one is open.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, cats and dogs are welcome. Call (315) 424-0036 x111 for the limits on number, size and breed, which we confirm before you sign.
How far is the airport?
Syracuse Hancock International Airport is 4.9 miles away, about nine minutes by car, which makes Brook Manor an easy commute for airport and airline staff.
Is the property on a bus line?
Yes. The Centro stop at Swan Avenue and Schaffer Avenue is about a two-minute walk. Route 52 stops there, and route 80 also serves the area. Check centro.org for current schedules.
Is there EV charging?
Yes. Two electric vehicle charging ports are on the property. You pay for charging through the charger’s mobile app, separately from your rent.
How long is the lease?
Leases run from 12–24 months. Ask about the rate for a longer term when you call.
What do I need to apply?
Each person 18 or older applies separately and pays a $20 application fee by money order, which is non-refundable. Bring four recent pay stubs (two if you’re paid bi-weekly, four if weekly) and a photo ID. Decisions take up to four days once everything is in.
How much is the security deposit?
One month’s rent, collected before you move in. It is separate from the $20 application fee.
Do I need renters insurance?
Residents must carry renters insurance. If you already have your own policy, bring proof at lease signing and there is nothing more to do. If you don’t, ask the leasing office about the protection plan available through the property for $20 per month.
Who clears the snow?
A contractor clears the lots and walkways. If a spot has been missed, call the office at (315) 424-0036 x111 and we’ll send them back.
